What excites you about working with women and hormones?
As women there is often a misconception that there's nothing we can do about our hormones. Having an understanding of one's own hormones and having the power to optimise them through nutrition excites me! I love helping women improve their energy, their confidence and feel good in their skin!

Why did you choose nutrition?
I suffered from restricted eating and a poor relationship with food while I was going through University. I turned this around after learning how to properly fuel myself through my studies. I love helping others do the same so they don't have to continue struggling. More recently, I suffered from very unpleasant post-natal symptoms including new eczema, brain fog and fatigue and turned to functional medicine to help get to the root cause and start healing. I now also love helping other mums navigate pre/postnatal nutrition!

Who do you spend your free time with? My baby, my husband and my dog! We like mini adventures.
Interests: New moms, fitness, balanced nutrition

Why Health Coaching?
My passion is how we can optimize our health by caring for all areas of our wellness, with a special interest and love of exercise. I have always been active, especially love being outdoors, but I got into exercise and personal training by seeing the difference it has made in my own life and health. I love helping others realize the same benefits.
What excites you about working with women + hormones? I am a woman and have gone through my own health and hormone challenges. I have a lot of empathy and compassion for those women who are suffering and don't need to be, because there isn't enough information out there for helping us through these issues. There is so much we can do for ourselves just by taking control of our own health and learning what to do!

Who do you spend your free time with? My family and pets, but I also try to schedule time to be alone. I think "me" time is important!
What would you do for a living if you weren’t in your current profession? I would be a surgeon. I love the way the body can heal and love to fix and put things together. It would be that or a volleyball coach.
Interests: Personal training, nutrition, sleep hygeine

Why women's health + hormones?
There is so much we can do to help someone with hormone issues. I want to see more women transition in and out of periods without much issue and to understand the hormone cascades and help the use it to their advantage.
What’s your favorite activity outside of work? I have 3 things that I like to do outside of work- spend time with my family, exercise and cook. I spend my free time in my garden, working on projects with my husband and walking my dogs.
What would you do for a living if you weren’t in your current profession? Probably a chef. I love to cook from scratch.
Interests: Gut health, parasites, mold toxicity
