Booking + Payment

How do I reserve a spot?

To reserve a spot you will either:

1. Complete a short application (most guests) or,

2. Register directly with a deposit if you've been personally invited or are a returning guest

Once approval (or invited) you'll receive a private registration link. A deposit is required to secure your place. Spots are limited and not held without a deposit 

What is the payment schedule + payment plans available?

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. 

The remaining balance is due by a specified deadline prior to the retreat. Payment timelines and due dates are clearly outlined during registration.

Payment plans may be available depending on timing and availability. If you're interested in a payment plan, please reach out before registering so we can confirm options. 

What is your cancellation/

refund policy?

Due to the upfront costs required to plan these retreats:

1. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the retreat is cancelled by the host

2. All payments are non-refundable after the final payment deadline. 

3. You may transfer your spot to another person with prior written notice and host approval. Any financial agreements are handled directly between you and the replacement guest. Transfers must be finalized before the retreat and are subject to approval to ensure a good fit. 

If the retreat is cancelled by the host, all payments are refunded in full. 

Is travel insurance required or recommended?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Flights + Travel Logistics 

When should I book flights?

Once your deposit is paid and the itinerary is confirmed, you may book flights at any time. Many guests book early for better pricing.

Do I book flights on my own?

Yes, guests book and manage their own flights. I'm happy to help offer guidance if needed.

Are arrival + departure airports different?

It depends on the retreat. Some itineraries involve different arrival and departure airports. Clear guidance is provided in advance.

Will I receive flight guidance?

Yes. You'll receive recommended airports, arrival windows and timing guidance to coordinate group logistics.

Physical Expectations + Pace

How physically demanding are the retreats?

These retreats are moderate in physical demand. Activities involve walking, light hiking, stairs, and full travel days; but they are not intense or athletic-focused.

Do I need to be very fit?

You don't need to be highly athletic, but you should be comfortable carrying your own luggage (across several transitions), walking for periods of time, climbing stairs and moving independently throughout the day with ease.

Are activities optional?

Yes, participation in activities is optional. Guests are always welcome to sit out an activity if they prefer to rest or want downtime.

What if I need to rest or skip something?

Rest is absolutely okay. If the group is traveling between locations, guests must travel with the group. You may rest during transit or skip specific activities once we arrive, but guests cannot remain behind at accommodations while the group relocates. 

Group Size + Dynamics 

How big are the groups?

Groups are intentionally small, typically under 10 guests. Exact size varies by the retreat.

Will I have alone time?

Yes. There is built-in time for rest, wandering, or quiet moments. For safety, guests are encouraged to stay with a buddy or let someone know their plans. 

Is this social or quiet?

Both. There's meaningful group time balanced with space for quiet, rest and independence.

Lodging + Rooming 

Are rooms shared or private?

Accommodations are double occupancy by default. Limited single-occupancy rooms may be available for an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.

Can I request a specific roommate?

Yes. You're welcome to request a roommate, and we will do our best to accommodate preferences when possible. 

What if I snore or have sleep issues?

Shared accommodations require a basic level of consideration and flexibility. If you have significant sleep concerns, we recommend requesting single occupancy (when available) or bringing any personal sleep aids to help you rest comfortably.  Sleep and rest/recovery are important during long retreat days!

Are bathrooms shared?

In shared rooms, bathrooms are shared. In some locations, bathrooms may be shared between two rooms, depending on the property.

Food + Dietary Needs

Are meals included?

Most meals are included. Occasionally, a meal (typically lunch during a free time) is on your own. You will know in advance how many meals are not included.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

While we do our best to accommodate common dietary needs, you'll want to plan ahead for specific preferences or restrictions.

Are meals as a group or on our own?

Most meals are enjoyed as a group, with some meals left open for independent dining. This varies by retreat.

What is NOT included

Flights + security authorizations

Guests are responsible for all required travel documents and authorizations. Information and reminders (including ETIAS when applicable) will be provided, but completion is the guest's responsibility. 

Optional Add-ons

Some retreats offer optional add-on experiences. These must be selected and confirmed prior to the final payment deadline.

Alcohol

Guests may choose to enjoy alcohol responsibly on their own during free time, keeping group settings and shared spaces respectful. 

Personal purchases + Travel insurance 

Personal purchases, personal incidentals and travel insurance are all the responsibility of each guest.

What to pack+ Prepare

Will I get a packing list?

Yes. You will receive detailed packing guides well in advance, along with reminders as the retreat approaches. If you need assistance with specific recommended items, I am happy to assist you find the best choices for you.

When will I receive details?

Key details are shared after your deposit is paid and again as important milestones approach, including itinerary updates and travel guidance.

Are there things I need to do in advance?

Yes. Guests are responsible for completing payments on time, securing travel documents, booking flights, and reviewing provided materials in preparation for the retreat.

Please note: 

Registered guests receive a detailed packing guide and travel timeline prior to departure with proper time to shop, prepare and acquire any necessary items.

Health, Safety + Comfort 

What if I get sick or injured?

If medical issues arise, we'll assist in accessing appropriate local medical care. Guests are responsible for their own medical expenses and should carry appropriate travel and health insurance, as well as all necessary medications they require on an on-going basis. 

What about weather changes?

Weather can change, especially in outdoor destinations. Activities may be adjusted as needed. With proper packing and mindset, guests are typically well prepared for a wide range of conditions. 

Is there cell service or wi-fi?

Connectivity varies by location and is not guaranteed. Some areas may have limited or no cell service or wi-fi. Guests are encouraged to check their mobile plans and add international coverage if needed, prior to departure.  

What about personal safety + securing belongings while traveling?

We provide practical guidance on staying aware and securing personal items while traveling. As with any international travel, guests are responsible for their own belongings, but group travel and coordinated transportation reduce risk.

International Travel 

Do I need a passport to attend international retreats?

Yes, a valid passport is required for all international retreats.

Most countries require passports be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Guests are responsible for ensuring their passport meets entry requirements to each country.

What is ETIAS and will I need it?

ETIAS is a travel authorization required for entry into certain European countries. If applicable to your retreat, guidance and timing reminders will be provided in advance. ETIAS application fees are not covered in the retreat costs.

Will I receive reminders about travel requirements?

Yes. Registered guests receive timing reminders and travel guidance, including passport checks and any required authorizations, prior to departure.

What about personal + securing personal belongings while traveling?

We provide practical guidance on staying aware and securing personal items while traveling. As with any international travel, guests are responsible for their own belongings, but group travel and coordinated transportation reduce risk.

The Intangible Questions

What if I come alone?

Many guests attend solo. These retreats are designed to feel welcoming whether you attend alone or with someone. Most women come solo, and the intimate group size means you will have plenty of opportunity for connection without feeling overwhelmed.

What if I'm nervous?

That's completely normal. You'll receive clear guidance in advance and the group setting tends to feel comfortable and supportive once you arrive. 

Is this a therapy or coaching retreat?

No. These retreats are not therapy or clinical coaching. They are curated travel experiences designed for mental and physical rest, connection and presence; not emotional processing or treatment.
